Cycling tour to Belem
Our family-friendly cycling tour will take you along the banks of the Taro river all the way out to the historic Belem quarter, home to the UNESCO listed Belem tower and the Jeronimos Monastery. Start at Parque Eduardo VII near El Corte Inglês and you will cycle on perfectly flat ground through Praça Marquês do Pombal, Restauradores, Rossio, Praça da Figueira, Praça do Comércio and the Docas Area before reaching the Belem area, the starting point for many of the marine expeditions during Portugal's Golden Age of Discovery.
